Description

In Napoleon's Grand Armèe, supplies and logistics were of paramount importance. In 1805, Napoleon moved all his army from Boulogne, on the shores of the Channel, to the Rhine, travelling over 370 miles in just 13 days. The march, crowned by the strategic victory at Ulm, was made possible by the flexibility of the corps and by the excellent logistics organized by the Emperor's high command.
