The Porsche 956 Jägermeister is one of the most iconic endurance racing cars of the 1980s. Directly derived from the legendary Porsche 956 Group C, it is distinguished by the unmistakable and eye-catching orange livery of its main sponsor. It was developed to offer a well-balanced mix of power, reliability, and aerodynamics. The aluminum monocoque chassis was paired with a powerful 2.65-liter twin-turbo Porsche engine capable of delivering over 600 hp. Completing the car’s configuration were rear-wheel drive and aerodynamics designed to ensure top-level performance. On track, the Porsche 956 reached a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. Even today, the Porsche 956 Jägermeister remains a symbol of the golden age of endurance racing.
