Dear friends, we are constantly receiving from all of you, an impressive amount of photographic materials of your work. This makes us very happy. Furthermore we are very proud that our initiative can provide visibility to your (and our) wonderful hobby. Now, we would like to present on our website a new initiative : the Italeri on line contest.

Send us by e-mail the pictures to photo@italeri.com of your scale models in line with the “subject of the contest” before 15th July 2012.

We will evaluate them, according to the parameters indicated here below and we will publish on line our “top chart”

We will evaluate your works in the following  categories (from 1 to 5 points)

1 – Historical consistency (camouflage, colour schemes, marks, historical background)

2 – Modeling skills (assembly, painting, ..)

3 – Scenario (aging, setting…)

4 - Picture quality (light and shadow, angle of the photo, absence of disorder elements ..)

5 – Supporting description  (text able to describe the operational aspects, historical use and modeling details)

The "top chart" will be done according to the sum of the scores collected in the categories listed above. The best scale models, together with those models who have got our interest, will be published on line with its scorecard.

Italeri also reserves the right to assign to the top score scale modes, published on line,  some compliments.

The first online contest is dedicated to Aircrafts 1/72 and 1/48 built using our scale model kits.
